July went so fast!

Hard to believe the kids in Brentwood are back in school already.  My grandchildren still have a bit of summer left, though.  In fact, My daughter, son-in-law, and two of my grandchildren will be here in a few days.  I can hardly wait.  They live in Texas so we only see them once a year when they can manage a trip back to California.  Their California cousins are looking forward to it too.  We're planning a sleep-over on Saturday, so if you have any hints on entertaining 5 children between the ages of 6 and 15, please send them.

The Summerset Singer's 10-year anniversary show, called "Celebration," has come and gone.  It was great from what I could tell from my spot on the risers and the comments from friends.  Lots of work, but it's all worth it.  And tonight we celebrate our celebration with a cast party at Nines.  If you missed the show, be sure to get tickets early next summer.
